Q: Do I need an appointment for wedding gowns? What about bridesmaid dresses, etc?

Yes, you need an appointment to try on wedding gowns. We also encourage you to make an appointment for bridesmaid shopping to ensure optimum service. We recommend calling the store ahead of time if you are shopping for a bridal party of more than five people as we will need to make extra accommodations for your appointment.

Q: What can I expect from an appointment?

A: Once you schedule an in-store appointment, you will be assigned a stylist who will guide you through the gown selection process. At your appointment, you'll receive one-on-one attention for 1 hour in our salon. Your stylist will provide sizing advice, reserve requested samples (when available), and help accessorize your wedding day look. We do highly recommend bringing in or emailing prior to your appointment, pictures or inspiration so that we can pre-pull gowns for you as well.

Q: How far in advance should I book my gown appointment?

We recommend that you book your appointment at least 6 months prior to your event date. Our gown styles have limited availability, so if you have found a style that you love, we recommend booking an appointment at your earliest convenience. Gowns take 15-18 weeks to be delivered as they are made to order, Bridesmaids take up to 12 weeks as well.

Q: What if I need to cancel my appointment?

A: We have a 24-hour cancellation policy. You will receive a reminder call 24-48 hours before your appointment. You can email us at Olivia@livandlovebridal.com or you may call the store directly at 210.698.7373 to confirm or cancel. If we don't hear from you by 5 p.m. the day before your appointment, we will open it up to another bride. Please note we have a long wait list of brides hoping for an appointment every weekend. We appreciate the courtesy of confirming or cancelling as soon as possible.

Q: What are my options if appointments are fully booked and I want to try on wedding gowns?

A: We recommend calling our store to be added to a wait list. The store teams will call customers on the wait list as soon as an appointment slot opens.

Q: What should I bring with me to my appointment?

A: We suggest that you bring your own nude or white undergarments. This may include a strapless bra, underwear, and/or shape-wear. You may also want to bring an elastic hairband if you plan to wear your hair up, but other than that you will not need much. Most, if not all of our gowns have amazing support and you will not need much under the gowns.

Q: What size are your sample gowns?

A: We have samples in sizes ranging from 10 to size 34, but it varies by style. During your appointment, your stylist will assist you with your measurements and provide sizing advice. Most of our wedding gowns if not all run very small, so keep that in mind. Please call us for any further questions.

Q: May we bring a bottle of wine or champagne to celebrate?

A: YES!! WE encourage you to bring champagne or white wine for you and your guests. We do ask for parties over 5 we do ask them to bring their own Champagne. We have complimentary orange juice for mimosas and water as well for everyone. To avoid spills and maintain the integrity of the product, we ask that you not bring in outside food, red wine, coffee, etc. However, we are happy to provide refreshments upon request.

Q: Do I pay for my gown at the time of ordering? Or do you accept partial payment?

A: For a NEW gown order we ask a 40% down deposit of the original cost of the gown. If it is a sample gown bought off the rack we do also ask a 40% own deposit of the original cost of the gown. All gowns have to be paid off within 6 months from your original deposit of the gown or prior to alterations starting.

Q: Can I make a return or exchange? 

A: Customer acknowledges placement of special order and/or receipt of goods and/or services in the amount of the total shown hereon. All sales are final. No refunds or exchanges.
Upon making your deposit, a consultant will have you sign an agreement that goes over our policy.

Our policy states :

  • You agree with the designer, style, color and size for each item ordered. Also that you understand that custom measurements and/or custom length may not be exact.

  • You understand that dye lots may vary from swatches.

  • You further understand that payments are forfeited in case the event is cancelled, without exception.

  • You understand that when purchasing a floor sample item, it is sold in 'as is' condition. The cost of any fixing and cleaning will be included in the discount given of the samples condition.

  • You understand that alterations to the merchandise may be necessary and that alterations will incur a separate charge.

  • You understand that should the event be cancelled, I am responsible for providing timely notice to our store. I will be responsible for full payment of all merchandise ordered and bought out of stock.

  • You understand that all sales are final and are neither returnable nor exchangeable. No Exceptions.

Q: How quickly do your gowns arrive once I've placed my order? 

A: All of our beautify gowns are made to order and take about 15-18 weeks to be delivered. Bridesmaids take up to 12 weeks as well, so the soonest the better when making a decision. With that being said, some of our designers can happen to have stock, as well as Rush options available for you. Please call us if you are concerned about the timing of ordering your gown as we have made miracles happen for some brides with very short wear dates. your size is in stock, it will take approximately 5-7 business days for your gown to arrive. If your size is not in stock, you can expect it to ship within 5-7 business days of the estimated ship date that you see noted when you click on your size. For last-minute shoppers or elopers, we also offer expedited shipping.

Do we consign or sell gowns purchased at Liv & Love Or other stores?

We do not, but can give you options of other stores that do!

How many guests can you bring to your APPOINTMENT ?

We recommend 6 or less so that it is not to overwhelming for the bride but we understand in including your love ones. We do ask for parties over 6 to prebook as soon as possible as we are a smaller shop, and we want to make your shopping experience as comfortable as possible for everyone.
